Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon.com said it best…”Your brand is what people say about you when you leave the room.”
That’s why before you even think about creative, logos, or marketing – you must have clarity on what your brand truly includes.
Here are some key elements of a brand by Nike which I endorse most:
1. Put Customer Interests First
Customers like great products and they like serious benefits. Customer is God.
2. Believe In the Product You Are Selling
As marketers, shouldn’t we believe in the product and the ideas we are selling?
3. Research brands within your industry niche.
You should never imitate exactly what the big brands are doing in your industry.
4. Form your brand’s business voice.
Your voice is dependent on your company mission, audience, and industry.
